What bookkeeping services do you offer?

At Trendsight, we have three main service Solutions:

 Do you offer tax preparation or financial advice?

Trendsight provides bookkeeping services, we do not provide tax or financial advice. We will work with your tax accountant during tax time to assist with any tax preparation.

 What software do you use?

We utilise Xero, Dext, Fathom and Karbon to support your businesses bookkeeping needs.

 Can you work with my existing software?

Our professional opinion is that Xero and Dext are the best tools for managing your bookkeeping. Outside of that we’ll work with your existing software

 Do you handle payroll for international employees?

Trendsight supports businesses Australia-wide and is compliant with all Australian requirements. We are not able to support internationally based employees.

 How do you charge for your services? (Hourly, monthly retainer, project-based)

We work on a package based system. you’ll pay a fixed monthly price with no surprises. Check out our Packages page for more information

 Do you offer discounts for long-term contracts?

Trendsight values all our clients equally. If you would like to refer clients to Trendsight, we would love to reward you with one month of free bookkeeping services!

 What's included in your basic bookkeeping package?

Our Launch Package is great for businesses that are looking to keep their bookkeeping and compliance in good shape but don’t need any reporting. There are add-ons available, check out our Packages page for more information.

 Do you offer additional services for a separate fee?

Yes! Check out our Packages page to see what add-ons we have available.

 What information do you need from me to get started?

We’ll send you a list of items that includes items such as access to your accounting sofware and an introduction to your tax accountant (if you already have one).

 How quickly can I get started?

Generally straight away. We’ll start of with onboarding which takes 3-4 weeks. Once done, we’ll get on with business as usual

 Do you offer a free consultation?

Yes! Get in touch for an obligation free call where we can work out if we’re a good fit for each other

 What are the benefits of outsourcing my bookkeeping?

 Can you help me clean up my messy books?

Yes, we can help catch up on your bookkeeping and get your books back on track.

 Do you do BAS?

Yes, we will handle your preparation and BAS and IAS lodgement.

 Do I still need an accountant?

Yes, Trendsight do not provide accountant/tax services. We will work with your existing accountant or we can introduce to accountants we have great relationships with.

 How will my information be kept safe?

We use secure cloud-based storage and employ industry-standard data security practices.

 Will working online affect my business if you don't come to my office?

Trendsight are experienced in working with different businesses in various industries and are confident that us being a remote cloud-based bookkeeping service will not affect your business.

 Do you work with businesses outside of your core industries (childcare, construction and pharmacy)?

We work with clients who we know are a good fit for us. Generally that means businesses in our core industries. However a good fit isn’t only based on industy so get in touch.
